A clear report, not a verdict

What is Chameleon AI?
An app that helps you record an incident (an accident, a theft, a scam, harassment, a dispute or damage), keeps the evidence safe on your device, and uses AI to give you a clear report and the next steps to take, based on official procedures.
Who can see my evidence?
Only you. Photos, videos and voice notes are encrypted on your device before they’re saved, and they stay encrypted on our servers. The keys stay on your devices: we can’t open your files. When you ask for an analysis, the keys for that incident are shared for that one analysis only, then deleted.
What does the AI do, and not do?
It describes what your evidence shows: what happened, key moments, what’s confirmed and what’s uncertain. It doesn’t decide who is at fault, it isn’t legal advice, and it can make mistakes. If something looks wrong or offensive, use “Report a problem” under the report.
Do I need an account?
Not to record. Recording, your incidents and the emergency numbers work without an account. You sign in (email code, Apple or Google) only when you ask for an AI analysis.
Does recording work without internet?
Yes. Recording, your incidents and the emergency numbers all work offline. If you ask for an analysis offline, it waits on your device and is sent as soon as you’re back online. You can also keep videos for Wi-Fi only in Settings.
